Is Your Watch Lying to You? The Fitness Wearables Data You Can (and Can’t) Trust
If you’ve got a fitness tracker strapped to your wrist, you’re not alone.
These little devices have become a must-have for anyone serious about health. But did you know that up to 40% of fitness tracker users stop wearing them within a few months?
Part of the reason lies in the confusing data they offer. Is the information they’re giving you even accurate?
Let’s cut through the hype and figure out what data to trust.
Fit Over 50
Get Fitter in 90 Minutes Per Week
The Boxlife newsletter has been alive for about a year, and we just surpassed 16,000 members (thank you for being here!)
As you might know, I routinely survey the community to learn more about your fitness goals, and issues preventing you from being fitter.
Here are a few things I’ve learned:
About 30% of you are 50+ years old.
A lot of you struggle with what to do and how to work out.
Many find it hard to commit to train consistently (3-4 times a week)
Based on this feedback, I thought about creating a short and simple workout, adapted for people over 50, that is proven to build muscle and shed fat.
This is a close variation of what got me started, back when I was in my 30s, so I know this works very well.
So here it is:
Introducing the PEAK PAST 50 Workout:
Designed specifically for people over 50, this program will help you:
Shed Fat
Build muscle
Increase strength
Boost your metabolism
Burn about 700 calories per session
Here’s the deal: I’m doing a soft launch of this workout to a subset of this newsletter (if you’re reading this, you’re part of it).
I’m offering the workout for $7.
All that I ask is that you give me your honest feedback about it, deal?
Heart Rate
What’s Considered a Healthy Resting Heart Rate? Here’s the Number to Aim For
Did you know something as simple as your heartbeat could predict your risk of heart disease?
Your resting heart rate, the number of times your heart beats per minute at rest, is a powerful indicator of your overall health.
Studies show that a higher resting heart rate significantly increases your chances of cardiovascular problems.

Massive Study Pinpoints Ideal Time of Day For Exercise To Maximize Fat Loss And Other Benefits
Recent research led by Angelo Sabag and his team has uncovered compelling evidence on the importance of timing in physical activity for individuals dealing with obesity.
Published in the prestigious journal Diabetes Care, the study indicates that engaging in physical activity during specific times of the day can significantly impact health outcomes, particularly concerning mortality, cardiovascular disease (CVD), and microvascular disease (MVD).
